most of the time the AVs wont focus the sequester directly on the pets, but the pets can and will be affected by it if they are too close to the person who gets sequestered
the only pets that are immune to the sequestration are illusions PA and support lore pets which are untouchable
In terms of server resources, the pet is treated like a player, so it will get sequestered. If it is held, you can drop a breakfree over the pet or hit it with enforce morale or similar un-mez power. I've noticed that I can sometimes free a player from a sequester by 1-3 hits of enforce morale or clarity. If you have recall friend, you can move the pet to a safer place until the hold wears off.
I've actually seen pets get the AV aggro and get a warning or two. It's usually the Animated Stone from Earth Control since I think it has some built in taunting.

Ok so at least that is what I call their Sequestering ability!
I have asked this question a few times on Trials which has usually met with silence or a helpful " I don know"
Do the No-No Rings affect MM Minions I have been watching and I am pretty sure they do not sequester the pets.. but are they held when a party member is Sequestered? For the most part I always try to keep them at range anyway but on rare occasions they seem to become non responsive and shortly there after get crushed by something.
