Noob PvPer needs a hand
I think it was in the Virtue section, or Pvp (maybe both) but theres a thread called Pvp redux or similar? About them running pvp activities there, teaching people the basics.
Maybe a flying dark/devices blaster? With devices if you have tactics along with targeting drone and a perception io. I think you can see stalkers when they get close to you. You could then use web grenade on them or anyone else trying to fly up to you. Also with cloaking device and a stealth io in fly you would be a little difficult for others to see you in the sky. Making it a little safer to move around the zone unseen. I don't play blasters but i imagine it would be decent for someone new to pvp. So your not on the ground and being seen by everyone and getting ganked constantly. I'd also pick up hover and afterburner to counter some of the -fly from ppl. Or you could roll a stalker and just spam sharks and ks.

uuuuum no, worst advice ever.

And with the above advice you must not PvP either.

Why is that bad advice? And yes i pvp all the time in rv on freedom. Not on blasters but i see the flying blaster like villain hunter and the flying corr quartex and they do pretty good. They attack you from the sky catching you off guard. Give him some advice then instead of just saying mine was bad.

OK then, so...OP make a stalker and I am biased to */wp(and I am a fan of Spines):

1) so you can watch how things happen in zone and see how dr works on your different powers in comparison to how the same power/slottings work in PvE and also how travel suppression and heal decay work in zone.
2) Learn how to AS not just trow shraks.
3) Learn how to evade and break L.O.S.
4) get on a team and work on having everyone on the same target at the same time. i.e. spike
Once you have spent some time messing around on your stalker and learning the basics you can then switch it up and make something more to your playstyle or you may find that you enjoy stalking.
