Missing Character Slot

If you are not tier 4 (maybe five, Paragonwiki.com/wiki/Paragon_Rewards has the exact level) you need to purchase an additional unlock for controllers, masterminds, and all the epic archetypes.

Yes I am aware that it requires Teir 4 to unlock masterminds to play outside of being VIP.
The issue I'm having is that I lost a character slot but didn't get a character to play in return.
F2P/Premium get 2 character slots. I had one filled and now the other is gone. Help?

The character slot is actually unlocked but since you don't have permanent access to the AT you aren't able to play it. If you purchase the Mastermind from the Paragon Market you shouldn't need to unlock the slot again and should be able to play your character. Also, if you were to delete the character you should find an empty available slot unlocked for use.

Yeah, that's what I mean to get across - you can unlock a character slot filled with a character needing further unlocks.
You could try filing a ticket at support.cityofheroes.com to see if they can move it/return it to unasssigned server slot status.

This last weekend I was on my account, premium, going to select a character to play. I have one character slot full and the other is for whatever character I want to make that day. I clicked my Mastermind and for the heck of it clicked "unlock character".
It then said "Character unlocked" and took my second, open, character slot. Now the slot is missing, I still can't play the character it said it unlocked and I little confused.
Is there a way to fix this, undo it, or anything for a character slot back?
