Hero Academy (iOS game)

Does anyone play it? It's a grid-based strategy game for the iOS.

There are four teams right now:

The Knights (Council) and Dark Elves -

The Dwarves -

and The Tribe

The game is coming to Steam 8/8/12, IIRC, and will be gaining a new team...

The TF2 guys.

It's free through the app store, though it only comes with the Council and plays ads between turns. One purchase and the ads go away; teams are $1-3, depending on sales.

Does anyone want to play? I'm ChrisMoses through there as well. Challenge me! Or give me your name and I'll challenge you.

If you're new to it, I'll warn you... I may be addicted. It could happen to you, too!

Oh, it's also asynchrous play (like Words with Friends or something like that), so you can play it throughout the day when you get a 5 minute window, rather than remain hunkered over your phone for an hour at a time.

I love HA!

Can't wait for the TF2 team!

Remember, though... we can't talk about other games here, so this thread might get mod-nuked soon.

My bad. I was around back when that was decreed, but I forgot about it. An iOS game doesn't really have any competition with an MMORPG though, does it? bleh.

Yeah, platform is irrelevant, but you can PM me your HA handle and I'll start up a game.

yeah, I didn't realize it wasn't until last week when I tried to get a friend into it. Steam though, so at least everyone interested will be able to try it out next week.
