Yes, it can be done. Dark seems to work better than Bright.

Pretty surprised you haven't run into a "blood-tinted" WB character in-game. At least the first week or so, it seemed like at least one third of the new WBcharacters were on that theme. I ran into the first one I saw in the DfB trial I was running with my brand-new WB (non-bloody) blaster.

Yeah, I've seen a bunch of them. Playing a melee character on a team with them is a little like going to a water park for vampires -- you're just deluged in waves and torrents of blood splashing everywhere.

Is it possible to colour Water Blast sufficiently enough to look like Blood? Are there red choices available? Is it convincing?
I'd like to know before buying the set and finding out I can't do the theme that I want to do.
