i gotta go to work now so ill check the build later. but just looking it over seems solid so far

Fist off get rid of the KB prot in your fly switch it out with the winters gift slow res, you all ready have enough KB prot with your indom will. If u need more then 10 KB prot then the extra 4 wont help. Second switch maneuvers out with CJ for 2 reasons 1 gives u more def, 2 it cost u less end to have it toggled. Your end use with just your toggles on is high and when u also start to calculate in your attacks you will be sucking down blues in no time flat. Take fast healing alot sooner then you did if you plan on exempting down. I would also recommend takeing out 1 slot from tuff and putting it in high pain tolerance and switch out the titanum coating with RA you wont be missing the extra HP since u have it covered in your KC in incinerate since you was over the rule of 5 for your HP for that bonus. There is a few things I would change like switching out the purples since I am not a big fan of the purple sets much and add some extra slots to taunt to help with the def but here is a build i did takeing yours and doing some of the changes I recommended.

Missing the rule of 5.....dang. I kind of hate the rings flying around behind me from CJ, however, I can deal with it. I'm curious why you don't like using purples, LSK? Aside from the cost I don't usually find a down side. Can you show exactly what you would do instead of the purples?
I like the higher defense numbers.
Well for 1 purples do not give u much end red, 2 sometimes u can get better set bonuses with other sets. Not saying do not use them it is just me. This is what I would of done.

Wow, a much cheaper build and with better numbers....

I'm not sure you'd file this under 'improvements' but I tinkered with LSK's (very solid) build to fit my tastes a bit more. My main criticisms with that build are: I don't think the MotT proc is best utilized in an aoe with the way ppm procs are adjusted for aoe's (perhaps someone can correct me, any luck triple stacking the proc in an aoe?), and I wouldn't be happy with a 71% chance to hit vs. +3s in my ST attacks. Some things I changed: dropped the 3% resisit IO, because it pales in comparison to an extra stack of the MotT proc. Changed the order of build up and hasten (personal taste). Assumed Char will be used infrequently, and stole slots. Dropped the taunt IO from RttC, again personal preference. I don't use the 'proximity herding' method, and am satisfied with my ability to hold/recover aggro via taunt and ranged attacks if necessary. I still feel like I'm missing out on f/c defense, but not that big a deal (to me)...
So, I gave up 25ish hp and some recovery (you're more than fine on that) for a bit better accuracy. Another PoV.

EJI, your kind of reading my mind, and a new opinion is always helpful. I've been wondering about those specific questions as well. I included the PVP + Res partially because I already had it. This and the tank ATO + Res lead me to push for as much resistance as I could get in my original build. This is very interesting. I did a small tweak on what you did, moved the rech IO on build up to the 5th slot of RA in tough.
Any other ideas would be welcomed.
EJI the only things i would say to your build is switch out the res proc in mind over matter with the end proc for better end usage, and not over the cap on res, switch out the taunt proc for acc/rech for the same reason. You will noticed that both the taunt, and res in those 2 are in the red in certain areas.
To the OP EIJ said it best when he said to his/hers taste and I totally agree with them on this point. The build I did for you is what you wanted in your build so that is what I did with what you had. I only switched 1 of your powers to get it sooner. But you can take what both me and EIJ did to your taste.
LSK, I apologize if I somehow slighted you or minimized your contribution. Hopefully, I am just misreading the intended message.
I've been looking for my super tank forever. I've tried lots of different combos, specifically shield\SS, stone\fire, wp\electric, and a previous wp\fire all the way to 50 as well as several other alts.
I have most or all of the materials in this build already, but lets assume unlimited resources. Enhancement boosters, Purples, PvPs, HOs etc are all fair game. I am hoping for the "do it all build," good solo (hopefully at +4x8 but I'm not that worried about that difficulty), phenomenal on teams, maybe even AV\GM soloing (don't know if tanks can even do that.) Also, please point out if there will be a certain group that will prove difficult.
Nothing in the build is capped but lots of stuff is very high: defense, regen, resistance and recharge were the priorities I went after. For incarnates, I exemplar alot on my toons, so I would like to make sure I'm as powerful as possible before 50. For the high end game please suggest whatever you think is best.
