Two story issues that I can't seem to resolve.

My first story issue is that at the end of the first story of my arc, I want the "rescued" target to simply fade away, rather than running off. Is there a way to accomplish this? I have it set for a rescue, but, perhaps something like find an ally?

My second issue is that in the second story, I really don't want there to be any villains except for a few at the boss enounter at the end. How can I do this? (Thought just occured to me to have two villain groups, one for the mish that is an empty custom, and one for the end, with the critters I want...but, I'm thinking offhand that this would create and invalid villain group.)

Thanks in advance.

1. You can't have someone you rescue simply fade. If you're rescuing a hostage, they will always run to door. If you set it up so it's a captive or ally, you get more options, but again, none of them involve the captive fading away.

2. There's already an enemy group called "Empty." If set to this, no one will spawn. It's very useful. Just have you mission's enemy group be set to Empty and no one will spawn throughout the entire map except for the individual objectives you place. You can even use Empty for objectives, in case you want just a boss to spawn and no minions.

First: No matter what you make your recue-ee, there are no more options than:
-run to the nearest door, which may or may not work depending on the map you use,
-follow,
-do nothing, which will have allies stand there exactly until you return to them, then they find standing there is not fun and follow you anyway.
You can set a rescue animation that usually works, but when the animation finishes, they will do the above.
You can have click-able objects fade away after clicking, but not people. (someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

Second: Set the enemy group of the map to "Empty".

Thanks guys! A little disappointed that I can't make my rescuee fade out, but, c'est la guerre. The "empty" option is welcome news!

Thanks much!
