Water/Kin Build. Critiques/Opinions Welcome!
There was something weird happening in your build with it showing higher base defense numbers than I could figure out. It's not from Agility. I don't know what is causing it. EDIT: oh wait, you had Support Core toggled on ... its only up 2/4 mins ... and it doesn't come to late in your incarnate career. Personally I'd soft-cap (45%) without it and then decide if you still want to add it.
Anyway I rebuilt it, and ended up with a build with more standard soft-cap numbers to S/L/E (around 46-47%)... if you add Agility, you'll push S/L/E to around 50%. If you add support core, S/L/E go to 62% and Neg goes to 47%. But that may not be the best Hybrid choice. I don't like Barrier either that much compared to Clarion on corrs. I suppose on a Kin barrier might be a good choice for the RES and give you some buffer on S/L/E def (probably 5% more at the tail of barrier). You'll just have to find another way to deal with Mez (maybe the amplifiers from the market).
You have close to Perma Hasten with 1 application of siphon speed. I added the pet from PPP -- he's pretty much perma. I'd figure you're doing enough AOE to capture everything's attention. Whirlpool gets the -RES proc that should trigger every time come i24 proc changes. Burst gets the FF +rchrg IO for added recharge. Assuming Geyser has 120 recharge it should be up like every 30+ secs. A fulcrum-shifted geyser should be fun.
Kin has a strong enough heal that you can slot Dehydrate for 100% damage and other effects. I guess what bothers me if anything in this build is the lack of procs in the single target attacks. They are mainly slotted (6) with Thunderstrike to build ranged/E def.
It's a tough call if Kin is sturdy enough on its own (vs. say soft-capped to all Time builds) but the appeal of FS is immediate, and there is little to occupy you in your secondary except the occasional heal/transfusion/siphon and keeping SB on the team.
EDIT: feel free to slot Whirlpool with 5 Overwhelming Force including the Proc (KD) for some soft control, in place of Posi Blast.

Wow, that is a good looking build! Hadn't thought about adding a pet but it's a great idea.

Goal is to have i24 Geyser up every 30 secs or so and benefiting from FS+Tidal Forces. I'm stuck on what Alpha.
Patron Pet seems like a nice add but I'm open to other suggestions.

I gave up and went musculature core for alpha. I figured the boost to Judgement and Lore Pets (and other pets, like PPP) was the best I'd get outside of FS. Kin tends to cover the other elements like Heal/Endo/Recharge.

You have an extra slot in Brawl for no apparent purpose.
You appear to have punted on the PPP pet in order slot other abilities -- and quality of life stuff like afterburner. OK I guess. I prefer the PPP pet for added dps and help on things like BAF Escapees. For me, I don't think a Kin needs 3 recovery/heal/regen procs in Health but that's me (given you have transfusion and transference). For me Focused Accuracy was a slot mule and a maybe-useful-on-teams-with-lots-of-endo-buffs power. Each to his/her own.
So, this is the first time I have put together a build for a /kin. Input, thoughts, critiques, etc are encouraged!
My goals were really to make something that can survive, but be functional. I fear that in chasing defense bonuses, I stripped utility.
I intend to primarily do high-level task forces and Incarnate content. Assuming incarnate abilities, I am currently sitting at softcap or better for S/L/E/N and Ranged. I do play my corruptors rather aggressively, jumping into the thick of things, so perhaps chasing bonuses for Ranged defense was a little silly.
The end-drain is of concern on this build, and having limited experience with /kins (and no experience with Water Blast!), I am curious as to whether this is a viable plan.
As this is a planned build (my character is currently only sitting in the high-teens), I'm not married to any of the power selections. The only caveat is that I would prefer not to hover/fly.
