My question is this: I just lvld my first kin toon...and was wondering if I can just do away with hasten since I have siphon speed? Do they work basically the same..would I be losing out on anything if I did?

Benefits of Siphon Speed:
- Doesn't need a pool pick
- Recharges fairly fast.
- No END crash.
- Slows speed and recharge of most enemies.

Benefits of Hasten:
- Doesn't need accuracy. It will be available as soon as it's up.
- Doesn't need an enemy.

You can if you choose. Or you can use them together.

ty..makes it a little clearer. Realizing I don't need an enemy using Hasten makes me think: I wouldnt need Hasten anyways with no enemies in my area. Hasten is typically (i'm told 2-3 slotted) ..I was thinking of just 1 slotting hasten saving me a couple slots better used elsewhere. Is this good idea? I dont wanna cripple the build and have to respec again is why i ask.

You should be fine with one slot. Then again about 90% of my alts don't have Hasten at all, so i may be biased.

Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...

I'd... frankly grab MIDS, figure out what you want to do, and have the people who really get into builds go over it with you.

... don't forget, level 10 you do get a second build if you want to use it as a test build. >.>

All enemies actually, it's unresistable(The only player power with unresistable -recharge, as far as I know). Which comes in handy against enemies with high recharge resistance such as Arch-Villains.

There is a big difference in the amount of recharge to take into account. 20% recharge on Siphon Speed vs 70% on Hasten. It does stack, though it takes a lot of work to keep it up.
