Black Swan... this can't be intentional?

Running the mission that is now "Meet up with Positron" from Maria Jenkins, and found this:



These intimidatingly-re-costumed, but weaker, clones of Black Swan were present in several mobs - they're level 44 Elite Bosses, as opposed to the level 45 real one that didn't have the changed costume (i.e. the one you kill to complete the "Defeat Black Swan" objective). I counted six of them before I got tired of flying around a foggy Shadow Shard map.

I have never even HEARD of this happening before. ParagonWiki doesn't seem to know about it. Wtf is going on here?

Huh... Sounds similar to when the ITF was spawning EB versions of Romulus all over the place.
