Travel Powers for Robots
Rocket Board works fine for Science/Tech robot/android/cyborg themed characters.
You can also buy a market and IO lisence and craft costume recipes like Rocket Boots or Tech Wings.
You can also buy the Retro Sci Fi costume set for the Jet Pack costume pieces.
The great thing about the costume pieces is that you can use them with the regular travel powers and not worry about having all your powers suppressed while using them.
You can also use a Macro to use a costume change along with the travel power to create the "transformation" effect when you want to activate your travel power.

More options = good...as long as they're not locked beyond Super Packs *coughVoidSkiffcough*.
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...

No argument on the ugly. Just trying to point out the other options available that can be used until we get more tech themed non combat travel powers. (If we get any more)

And the Void Skiff doesn't look science/techy.
Floating energy disc, yes? Sounds science/techy to me. Would work great for a Vanguard-themed character (I guess they're techno-mages but still).

I've got it on the Beta Server and in my "opinion" it looks more Magicky than Techy. Well it's generic enough to be any origin but Sci/Tech aren't the first things that pop to my mind when I look at them.

I won't dismiss others as being wrong if they have a different opinion on what origin it looks like to them tho.

Admittedly, it does require a decent chunk of Handwavium in other to invoke science and/or tech, but it certainly works.

Like you said, in my opinion.

So I noticed the Paragon Market has a few transformation travel powers...
But not very many... I suggest a type of travel power that won't completely change the idea of a character... For instance My character is an Android, would look weird for him to transform into a coyote... but maybe perhaps transformed (Transformer Style) into a vehicle wheeled or winged....that would be awesome....
