Several weeks ago I made a claws/dark scrapper in anticipation of how freaking stupid the overwhelming force proc would be in shockwave. That day has come and it is indeed very stupid. I couldn't help but notice, though, that even before I got that proc the combination was pretty remarkable. I'm not sure how it looks for brutes since one of the great things about it is that in scrapper form your single target chain is, for the most part, operating under a 112.5% damage buff. If you run follow up-focus-slash then slash doesn't get the triple stack. You can also run follow up-spin-focus or follow up-shockwave-spin for aoe silliness. Long story short, everything dies except you. Added bonus: you'll never see anyone else playing the same combination.

I would recommend you Titan weapons.
Its a love or hate powerset, but I love it to death. So powerful and funny.
Pairing it with /Ela as Brute I think will make you love it.

TW seems to be hard on endo for anyone anyways, Elec is probably one of the best trade for a brute. 90% Energy resist will get you trough plenty of things, Clockworks are a joke, you negate a lot of Rikti, Lost, 5th columns, Freakshows, Pretorians...
A second for Claws/DA - I have one decked out, and he's good for both ST and AoE in iTrials, TFs, etc. Just get that ToE:%+End in Dark Regen and choose an Alpha that has EndRed (I went Vigor tree). I haven't done TW/ yet, so I can't compare them.

WEll, I have the next three days off, and I have my current main as powerful as he is going to get, so it's time for a new project. Last time was an unbeatable mountain that could solo hard targets. This time, I think I'd like something with a little more AoE.
Now, before everyone yells for ss/fa, please understand that I have tried it three different times, and I just don't like it. Are there any other recommendations? I have tey to try TW, or even /Ela. Maybe a ss/ela?
Edit to add: This will be for general gameplay, i.e. TF's, trials, so should be survivable, able to put out respectable st dps so bosses don't take forever. Only set I am not open to is KM, mostly cause i dislike the animations. And staff, I don't have that one.
