Tornado and Procs?

How would a proc work (currently) in a power like Tornado (Achille's Heel, Soulbound Allegiance, etc)? Once the procs switch to PPM?

Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"

*Arc #177826-Lights, Camera, Scream! - 3 step arc, camp horror; try out in 1st person POV - 35 Ratings/4 Stars

No change really once we move over.

IIRC, one chance on drop, and one chance every 10 seconds thereafter.

All the PPM change will do is change the chance - instead of a static number, it will be based off recharge (and modified slightly if an AoE)

So where do you think I would get the most bang for my buck (over time; Soulbound Allegiance proc)? Tornado, a moderate damage pet (like Fly Trap) or low damage multi-pets (like Fire Imps)?

================

[Tornado - Checks when cast and every 10 seconds thereafter (for each summon?) = 4 checks.

Imps - Checks on each attack from each Imp (every 5 seconds per Imp)

Fly Trap - Checks on each attack:

Thorny Darts (every 4.5 seconds)
Fling Thorns (checks per target every 13.5 seconds)
Bite (every 5.5 seconds)

Seems like the edge would go to the Fly Trap for number of checks and net benefit (unless I'm missing something?)]

Honestly, I am not sold on the Soulbound proc being worth slotting in most non-MM pets. I have it in Extract Essence on my WS, but that's because I can have up to three of them active at once, each of them has multiple attacks with which to trigger it, and they account for loads of damage (assuming I can keep them alive). Just doesn't seem to be worth the slot on other uncontrollable pets. I'd probably rather put a straight-up damage proc in there than a build-up effect that will likely often get wasted by stupid pet targeting and power priorities.

I definitely wouldn't put it in Tornado. As far as I can tell, it works like a fast-ticking damage aura, so it would only have a chance to trigger the build-up once every 10 seconds, and then the additional damage bonus would only affect a few ticks while it's active. For Tornado, just cram an Overwhelming Force KB-to-KD proc in there and stuff the rest with as much Dam/Rch/End as you can. Watch with glee as your little dust devils juggle bosses like a bad 2D fighting game.

Thanks for the input everyone.

One note about putting it in imps. You get three of the lil' guys.
