Gravity Control/Force Field... Suggestions?

I have been slowly working on making this build the best that I can as I earn more cash. I feel like I have it at about the best place I can, but thought I would post it so folks can maybe point out some errors or omissions to me.

Note: I don't PvP, solo sometimes, run iTrials a lot, but my most favored activity is teaming for TF/SFs. Also, the empty slots in Singy are for the current ATO Set.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I'd replace Trap of the Hunter with Thunderstrike (or something else) in Crush.

I'd put the leaping or running stealth proc in sprint and put maybe a Kismet +to-hit or LOTG recharge in Hover.

I'd got with LOTG over GOTA in your defense powers.

The Controller ATO set doesn't have damage; I don't think I'd put it in Singy. I'd try to get at least one peroxisome HO (dam/mez) in there.

I found with my Grav/Storm that slotting Singy with both +10% Resist procs seemed to make him even tougher to kill. Stacking your defense bubbles with that high resistance might make Singy tough enough to survive a run in with an AV.

You could use 4 Expediant Reinforcement, the other +Resist proc and then maybe an Acc/Dam Hami-O to cap out damage with good accuracy. Granted, you would be giving up any kind of Defense bonus.

Yeah, when I constructed the Build originally, I was strapped for cash a lot more than I am now. As a result, I specifically avoided LotGs. Perhaps I can reconsider that option.

And as for the Crap of the Hunter? I shoulda mentioned that that set is also sort of a placeholder for where I will eventually put the new ATO set whenever it gets released... unless there is a much better spot for it that is.

I will think about Singy's slotting a bit, but honestly, I like him to be even better at his role as a Controller Lite than a damage dealer, per se. As I said, I generally team, and don't really need him to add extra survivability to myself. But it is definitely something to think about. If I do move the ATO out of Singy, where would be a good place to put it instead (I do have the Superior version)?

Here is my grav/FF controller build. I took Dimension Shift, even though I don't use it very often its a unique power, dang it, so I will find a way. . . It was also a good place for the Will of the Controller ATO set, since no Immob set combines ranged defense and recharge. Ranged defense is nice on a grav/FF because you have several ways to keep foes at range.

On your build, you might replace one of the Lockdown sets with the Will of the Controller ATO set, you lose half a percent of ranged defense but gain 8.75% recharge, which is worth the tradeoff in my opinion. In particular I suggest putting the WotC set in a control power rather than Singy, as you can see on my build I've capped out accuracy, mez, and damage in 5 slots for Singy, which helps when you are down to single hard targets like AVs, where grav/FF isn't a terribly strong contributor.

I've got Hover so I can Wormhole down and not scatter foes, though thats somewhat map dependent, and Teleport because the character is somewhat based on a character from a pnp campaign of long ago. Though I like Recall Friend on any character I can fit it on.

if you want Singy to be more of a controller, replace the Acc/Dam Hami-o with an Acc-Mez Hami-O! The nice thing about using an Acc/Mez (or a Dam/Mez) in pets who use more than one control power is that it buffs ALL of the control powers. So for Singy, it would buff the Hold and Immob.

So here is where I sit... in terms of decisions. I put a Pet Set back in Singy, move the ATO set into WH... grabbed Dim Shift (which I am really starting to like, but I feel it is too rarely used by me to invest too much slotting into), and plan to put the KB->KD proc's set in Energy Torrent.

That leaves me with what to put into Crush. Do I go the route of Thunderstrike and use it for damage? Or, do I stick the new AT set into there and try to use it more often than I do to get the Energy Font around a bunch OR would that have a chance to proc everytime Singy attacks, or just when I cast him?

Grrrr, so many decisions! What is clear to me though, is that I will not go unde 45+ ranged def... and I like the amount of rech I have.

For some bizarre reason, I am rather adverse to HamiOs, haven't the faintest idea why. Maybe because I am loathe to lose set bonuses? Even when they don't matter.
