Hello all & thank you in advance for any & all constructive criticism of my build which I've posted below. I haven't played since issue 10 or 11 & only have SO enhancements slotted at present w/ 2 respecs to spend on the character to change stuff around w/ fitness now being an inherent pool.

This is my level 50 Rad/Dark. I haven't purpled him out yet or incarnated him - warts and all. It's not terribly expensive. I used mostly what dropped. In short, there are cheap IOs out there that are effective, adding small but noticeable bonuses. Your blasts could really use the tempests and ruins to cover accuracy damage and endurance for more of all aspects without breaking the bank.

I do like the powers you have taken. Obviously you get 3 more when you swap out the inherent fitness. Stamina may be slotted earlier than level 21. Choking cloud is such a good power for keeping foes in PbAoE range in a continual hold. It is the end hog of all the end piggies in CoH.

By the way, somewhere in the past the end cost of Enervating Field no longer warrants 3 full endurance reduction modifiers. The numbers for the cost and balance against recovery can be found using the Mids hero planner.

Good luck!

Welcome back. Love the forum name, too...

Looks like a decent starting spot, really. I could nitpick, but really most of what I 'd notpick about might be changed if/when you move to some (all) IOs.

Are you looking for an example build to shoot for as an end? Are you looking for a leveling build? Or just critiques of what ya have so far? If the later, I'd say it looks good, if you don't have Auction House and Invention System access, other than obviously respec and get the Inherent Fitness. If you do have access to those 2 tools, at least look into frankenslotting and/or cherry picking a few choice IOs like a Perf SHifter Proc for stamina, and the Miracle and Numina's uniques for health.

Overall I like your build, as other have said if/when you move to IOs there are some useful things you can do to eek a bit more oomph out of it at a reasonable price. If you were going to burn a respec, at that level I don't know if I'd have 3 slots in Health or 4 in Rad Infection. Ultimately I don't think its a big deal since as you level you get new slots anyway.

If you have access to all the goodies and toys, some of the shiny shiny stuff can be very expensive. I'd second Madadh's advice that frankenslotting (read the market forums) and picking a few choice IOs (I'd add the Kismet +to-hit and the LOTG +recharge to the list, as well as a karma -KB and maybe a run/leaping + stealth).

Many of the expensive IOs can be acquired with patience and judicious use of merits, hero merits, AE tickets, etc. But that's a whole 'nother ballgame.
