Slow fields..Unable to see the effect

Refraction effects continuing after you turn the graphics down sounds broken, and should be bugged if you can repeat it.

If your graphics are set too low you will not see the slow fields.
When you adjusted you settings back down, did the game redrawn the base? If it did not that's why you were still seeing the fields.

That seemed to fix it.. it seems they like Medium Quality water reflections not low quality.
So using some of the wonderful tips i have found here i made a pool how ever when I put the slow field down I could not see the effect. I checked my graphic settings the water was set to low quality I moved the slider the effects appeared I moved the slider back to low the effects persisted... I logged out logged back in the effects were gone!
Any Idea what the cause of this is? or is it broken?
