403 error on... the launcher?
You are LUCKY! My 403 error has had me unable to even load the game since last week. My ticket has been bumped up to 'higher' gurus. It is still a work in progress. I'm not slamming the support staff cause I think they are terrific. I can't wait to be back in the game.
While I'm inclined to agree that this is a wider issue, it's entirely possible that we could try a few things just incase.
First thing that comes to mind is try running the launcher in Admin mode (if for some reason it's not already). Right click the icon and the option should be there. If that's not it, I'm sure somebody else will be along shortly.
Been there, done that. After much testing, the gurus say it is NOT my PC and that I don't have a virus, etc. They have bumped my ticket up to the 'engineering' staff to see if they can get a fix. Wish I knew why I'm the Game Goddess is unhappy with me.
Since I23 hit {actually just prior, during pre-launch downtime}, I've been getting an error message when starting the NCsoft launcher;
"HTTP status 403: The client does not have sufficient access rights to the requested server object."
It doesn't seem to prevent the game starting - I can just click OK and be on my merry way - but it's a bit annoying. Is anyone else experiencing or has experienced this issue and if so, how is it resolved?
