Magic carpet issue...

I'm not sure how it happened, but my magic carpet might be a bit more magic than most. For whatever reason, I can't see it in-game. My character will be in "flying carpet pose", but they look like they're just standing on air.

Is this a known issue, or did I just get lucky?

Sounds like a graphics glitch at your end. Can you check to see what other people see when they look at your character on the carpet? Also, what do you see when someone else is using the carpet? If you're the only one who sees (um... doesn't see) the carpet like that, the first thing I'd try is repairing the files. It's one of the options in the launcher - Repair/Consistency Check.

Hmmm... looks like it might be on my side. The "fire jets" aren't showing up on my rocket boots either, and the repair thing didn't do the trick. Any other advice?

Well that's not good. The invisible carpet sounds like a texture problem while the rocket issue likely has to do with particle effects.

Time to hit up this thread and post that information. We need to see what your graphics settings are, system specs and stuff running in the background.

Thanks Ironblade. I'll try a quick uninstall/ reinstall and if that doesn't do the trick I'll hop onto the thread you posted and explore it further.
