/Energy good for stalkers?
I can't comment on the stun toggle as I didn't actually take that on my toon, but in general I can say that for me, /EA has become one of my favourite secondary's. My staff/EA stalkers S/L/E defences are sitting comfortably above the icap (around 65%). Add to that fairly good S/L resists, a nice self heal that adds +regen and endurance reduction for a further 30 seconds after the heal and an endurance recovery power that adds defence based on number of targets hit, I'd have to say that my stalker is one of my most survivable 'lower HP' toons, even more so that my StJ/EA scrapper due to the stalkers ability to kill things really quick.
On a levelling note, I found it very easy to layer defence onto this secondary with some light IO slotting, so it's highly possible to hit the regular softcap (45%) to S/L at fairly early levels, certainly by the mid 30's.
I love it, I don't think you would be disappointed but it's still down to personal taste, personally I can't sing it's praises any higher.

Thank you, btw stalkers don't get the +rech toggle right?
Stalkers get Entropy Shield rather than Entropy Aura, which gives a flat 20% recharge self-buff rather than the scaling buff/debuff aura.
And although I also have not tried the stun aura because it looks migraine-inducing, the set is indeed excellent.
Yeah, maxes out at 40% with ten enemies.
/EA is pretty spiffy. Not ice spiffy (Icy Bastion is nuts) but prettier and very effective nonetheless.

I wanted to see the stalker and /ea changes on a new hero, so I rolled a db/ea stalker.
Just hit lv31 today. I took all db/ and /ea powers available up until this point.
Have only basic IOs or SOs slotted, only pool powers are Teleport and Provoke.
It's been a great journey so far.
The new /ea feels so capable and robust, combined with the stalker update this db/ea feels like Scrapper 2.0.
I use the stun aura from time to time, I dont keep it running permanently.
It gets minions off my back when I need a bit more breathing room.
By far, the biggest annoyance I find in the /ea set is the particle effect for Power Shield.
The set feels that strong and versatile that I can complain about visuals for one toggle.
I haven't tangled with psychic or toxic heavy mobs too much yet though.
Hopefully Energize will help with those when I get to the later levels.
Violence has its own economy. Therefore, be thoughtful and precise in your investment.
I guess I'm not much of a stalker player I only have the one KM/Nin but since I already have the one StJ/Fire Brute I thought I'd reuse that set in the form of a stalker and since I have no /energy toons it felt like a good fit especially since it's like the KM/Nin only reversed
How's the stun toggle?
