Titan Weapon/Electric Armor Brute Build

So a few weeks ago I rolled up a Titan Weapon Electric Armor brute that has been just about the most fun I've ever had playing - Here is my build, any criticism is welcomed. I am probably a few hundred million away from completing this build, and thusfar am very happy with the results.

A few comments about my slotting decisions: with this build my greatest concerns were general survivability against any type of foe, high recharge, massive AOE and single target damage potential, and adequate stamina regen. Acc was another great consideration due to how debilitating misses are to a momentum attack chain.

The incarnate skills I ended up choosing were musculature for extra damage and end, reactive for extra killing power particularly in large groups, void which is easy to pop in the middle of a crowd without having to worry about positioning, and barrier for particularly hard fights/ boosting lore pets survivability.

Here are some summarized totals for the build with all of my armor toggles and focused acc on, not accounting for defensive sweeps def bonus:

DEF
smashing: 16.6%
lethal: 16.6%
fire: 20.1%
cold: 20.1%
energy: 7.9%
negative: 7.9%
psionic: 6%
melee: 19.8%
ranged:9.8%
aoe: 20.1%

RES
smashing:46%
lethal: 46%
fire: 49.4%
cold: 49.4%
energy: 90%
negative: 36.6%
toxic:16.1%
psionic:50.7%

regen: 319%
endrec:204%
enduse:.99/s

haste:162.5%
acc:86%

Final commentary: This character feels very jack of all trades: I find that the mix of solid resist almost across the board and decent def makes the only obvious weak points in this build toxic damage and negative energy, however I feel that given the melee def buffs from barrier and titan sweep(plus a tray full of purples) this build basically unkillable in most normal situations. The versatility of it is highly excellent: I can farm energy AE missions like no tomorrow, run 8x solo with no inspirations, and main tank for TFs. The damage potential is high enough to flatten groups of minions and lts with AOE or destroy bosses with single target attacks in 2 - 3 moves, I've hit a couple even con bosses for around 700-800 damage with build up + rend armor with rend armor and reactives -res proc already going.

Also it is very easy to demolish a bar of stamina with how fast this character puts out damage, and thus it was a hard decision taking barrier over ageless. However i feel that between the +recovery slotting and energize, I do not have to rely on blue inspirations at all. By having barrier(plus power surge if necessary) as an "uh-oh" button i could opt for more damage with musculature instead of going the +def or +res route with my alpha, plus it keeps my pets alive longer when **** gets real.

Also suggestions for a good lore pet set would be appreciated, I went for storm elemental for aesthetic reasons, but have heard very good things about high tier cims

I have a TW/EA scrapper that I really like and was looking to make a similar build.

I've been debating on whether I should remake this character as a brute to capture a higher resistance/defense cap and fury damage.

With this reasoning, I wonder why I chose to make a scrapper in the first place.

Any opinions on the thread as to what the advantage of a scrapper build would be with regards to this combo?

I have a TW/EA scrapper myself Malakim and have asked the same question many times. Without having the "hard evidence" that Mid's provides because of it's current TW bug, I'd say the difference between a scrapper and brute of the same build is this, overall a scrapper will be doing slightly more damage than a brute because of his criticals (without considering criticals the dps is somewhat lower), but the brute will have slightly higher hp and access to superior conditioning. With enough recharge having conserve power isn't a hindrance to a scrapper however. These are the primary differences imho. Please correct me anyone if I'm mistaken.

Oh, and the brute will have taunt where the scrapper does not.
