Right-mouse button navigation is stuttering

Hello folks,
I returned from a break a couple of days ago and encountered a rather bothersome issue: Looking around free-view with the right mouse button often doesn't properly 'catch on'. The one moment it will not respond at all, the other moment only along one axis.

Windowed mode or full-screen doesn't make much of a difference in functionality. One thing is remarkable: When it starts getting finnicky in windowed mode, it will actually regularly activate the drop-down menu of my actual desktop, resulting in icons dragged around or random new shortcuts. It's like the client is never properly in the 'foreground' when active.
The problem isn't there all the time, sometimes it'll be alright for an hour before it kicks in and sometimes it fixes itself, whilst nothing else seemingly changed.

I've tried looking into processes that shouldn't be there as well as disabling my antivirus, but with no success. OS used is Windows 7.

Does anyone have a clue on what could be causing this thing?

@Aggelakis
Yes, it is. I've had it ever since I started playing, though.

@Kitsune Knight
Rookie mistake, my bad. Added the reports.

Sounds like the batteries may be going, or the sensor may be bad.

Mice don't have an unlimited lifetime, remember. And wireless mice even less life due to the batteries involved.

A few things.

Buttons wear out. Actually, the little sensors that fire when the buttons are pressed. Also, they sometimes get a bit out of alignment.

As Aggelakis mentioned batteries could also be a problem, especially since it is a wireless mouse.

I see that you have some type of Wacom tablet installed. We've had instances in the past where the Wacom tablet drivers caused problems with the game. If you replace the batteries or the mouse and it still has problems you may want to uninstall the Wacom drivers and tablet to see if that is part of the problem.

I would also recommend turning off Ambient Occlusion completely. It's hardware intensive enough on a desktop graphics card but it's even worse on a laptop's mobility graphics chipset.

Finally, your video driver appears to have a corrupt installation (the funky date shown on the video driver while the sound card date appears normal). My recommendation would be to download but don't install the current video drivers for your laptop, download and install Driver Sweeper but don't run it yet. Uninstall the video card drivers, Catalyst Control Center and any other software for the video card then reboot the computer into Safe Mode. Run Driver Sweeper in Safe Mode to remove the leftover files and registry entries that the uninstaller didn't get rid of. Reboot into normal Windows mode and install the drivers you downloaded earlier.

At that point you can run CoH Helper again, paste it into Notepad and check the video card driver date. They should show in the normal date format then.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

I already refreshed the batteries, them dying was the first thought I got. Didn't do the trick, though. For the rest I'm pretty sure it's not the physical state of the mouse. I use the right-mouse button a lot in some 3D software (both click and hold) and the problem is non-existant here. The mouse's not all that old either (<1year, Logitech). I'll try the other things mentioned, though
