Advice for someone returning to Paragon City?

For returning players, make sure and check your "Hear enemy chat" settings.

The old default was set so that you couldn't hear the opposing faction and I've seen many returning players coming back and missing teaming opportunities because of this.

Menu -> Options -> Windows tab -> chat section and enable all three show enemy chat options

I suggest this to new players, but I think it may help a returning player as well...
Forget about the numbers and what people say is or isn't the best...
Just play make believe and let the game deliver the fun like only it does.

There are no wrong choices (in ATs, powersets, content)... just different paths.

I have people I work with that still judge CoX based on the 2008 game. Most people need the eye candy to take that first step to jump on board.

I like running the DFB trial until I get every buff. They come in handy and allow me to not worry about putting enhancements (except for end mods) in my powers until the buffs wear off.
