Singular Boss Ambush??
I would like to know this as well. I'm trying to pull something of a duplicity boss battle where you ambush a monster but then it turns out there are TWO.
Also, if there's a way to have one ally pop in at the start of a fight ("Hey, I made it just in time!"), I'd like to know an effective way to work that in as well. So far ambushes only seem to work at 75/50/25% incrementals.

The best option we have available is to have the second form Boss spawn after the first form Boss is defeated. You're going to need to use a map that has a final room where the spawn points are very close to each other to get this to work right. You can also use boss text to have him say something about being beaten, getting tougher and being ready for round two. But we don't have the ability to set an Ambush of only one, or have one boss spawn in the same exact point as another.
Also, Sylph, your best bet would be to choose a map with a small final room with multiple spawn points. Once the Boss is either defeated or reaches a certain health, have the second Boss spawn in the same room and say something about being a duplicate. As to the ally thing, I don't think you can have an ambush appear like that. However, you can try making the situation where you beat one of the boss's generals, which causes the boss to spawn in the final room and your ally to spawn nearby, commenting on being late to the fight.
If anyone can think of better solutions, though, go for it. Love hearing unique ways to use the AE.
Hello there! I have been attempting to create an arc as of lately, but am currently faced with a major issue(At least from my story perspective). In one of the missions of my arc, I planned to have a Boss-rank foe fall down, and an EB-rank foe show up in his place. Said boss is supposed physically change into a more behemoth-like monster (One could say, like The Hulk), only I have been unable to achieve anything close to what I'm looking for.
At first, I tried using boss placement to my advantage. About 95% of the time I did so, the bosses were no where close to one another. I tried and tried, but never succeeded. Afterwards, I attempted to use an ambush with a special foe group that only has that EB in it. Much to my dismay, he did show up... with 2 more of him tagging along. Now, that is as close as things will get for me, however, my blaster who the story is meant for can in no way take on 3 EBs simultaneously.
So I'm here to ask: Is there anything I'm missing that can give me a much more desired result?
