I downloaded the patch this morning and quickly logged in for a brief time. No issues.
Delete the checksum file and re-patch?
Well, now when I tried it the Launcher said that I should click OK to repair the launcher . . .
If that doesn't work, I'll try your suggestion. And thanks for helping!

Open up Task Manager and make sure all instances of the game AND launcher are killed before you try repairing the game again. Sometimes a process will hang, and the repair can't change the files because the files are already open in another process.
Rebooting may help as well.

Awesome! It was a total shot in the dark, but that's what we do when copying the Live client over to a Beta subdirectory, so I thought it might help a bad download too.
