Which to choose?

So I have returned to COH after 3 years away. My intention was to always play, but WoW and real life got in the way. But I forgot how much fun this was. So this is my dilemma. I made 3 WP scrappers, a katana, a BS and a WM. I have leveled all 3 into the mid teens so I could check them out. I like the katana graphics but it seems low damage compared to the other 2. The WM is awesome at this level but I don't really like the knockback. The BS seems to be a good compromise. I plan to mostly solo as I come on at odd times. Which would be the most capable at higher levels. Also which pool powers would be the best choice. Thanks in advance for any responses I get

Katana/WP is hard to go wrong with. I absolutely did not like broadsword in the later levels and closest I played to war mace was bane spider.

I'll second Kat/WP. But, it's strange. You shouldn't be seeing any knockback from War Mace. They have a knockup and a couple knockdowns. Other than that, it's mostly stuns.

KAT/WP hands down mate. This will turn into a powerful and more importantly FUN toon to play.

The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

Ok cool, thanks for that, I will level the katana scrapper. What about pool powers? What would be a good choice on that?

My personal choice between those 3 would also be Katana. Your attacks may not hit as hard, but you do them faster, which in the end gives more damage potential when you're fully built. I never liked the slow wind up animations for BS and WM.

You may know this already, but clicking "F" auto-follows your target, which helps a lot with knockback.

I gotta make pain. I gotta make things right. I gotta stop what's comin'. 'Least I gotta try.
