IO License: Possible with merits?
This was an "unintended feature" that cropped up on beta, and was not allowed to go live. There are currently no plans to allow license purchases through reward merits. No, you're not crazy, you remember correctly.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
Yeah, it sort of existed for a while but was fairly broken and obviously unfinished.
I don't know if they'll bring it back, but I actually think this is a brilliant idea. Especially since you can get merits from super packs, it gives premiums a good reason to buy those!

Thanks for the clarification folks!

It made it to live, actually. It was even functional, I think.

I think what Dumple meant by "it was not allowed" was "it didn't have permission" as opposed to "it was prevented from". Stupid English language with too many possible interpretations of a single phrase.
@Roderick
I'm not sure how to interpret "cropped up on beta, and was not allowed to go live" as anything other than "they caught it in beta and it didn't show up on live". But that's neither here nor there.

I've read on the forums here (a while back) and in-game folks saying that you could earn an IO license via reward merits and redeem them at a merit vendor. Is there any truth to this? Is there any way to get IO licenses/set bonuses as a premium player - besides buying one for 160 paragon points?
Thanks much,
