Imagine I am dumb... Explain Converters to me?
When converters become available, you will be able to convert the enhancement (not recipe) to a random level 13 PVPIO for a single converter. Keep doing this until you get a gladiator armor, then switch to in-set conversion (which costs 3 converters a roll) to get it to the unique.
I'm not sure, but I *THINK* that it respects weighting, so you might have to use a bunch to get it.
Deamus the Fallen - 50 DM/EA Brute - Lib
Dragos Bahtiam - 50 Fire/Ice Blaster - Lib
/facepalm - Apply Directly to the Forehead!
Formally Dragos_Bahtiam - Abbreviate to DSL - Warning, may contain sarcasm
First you have to get lucky to roll it into a glad armor. THEN you have to get lucky and roll it into the proc.
Not cheap on cnverters.
edit: you MIGHT get lucky and roll straight to a glad armor proc. But not as likely as rolling to a glad armor, and THEN rolling to switch internally.

Mathematically speaking, fyi, it takes ~5 uses (15 converters) to "hit" a specific IO, on average, within a set. To target a specific set for a 10-set class (purples) takes ~9 converters to land on it. To get from any "bad" purple (6 sets) to any "good" purple (4 sets) takes ~2.25. To target a specific set for an 8-set class (PvP IOs), takes an average of 7.
So to answer this question:
Say I have a PVP Hold IO, Acc/Recharge level 13. Can I use Converters to change that to a Gladitor's Armor level 13 3%/-Teleport Proc? |
I have to admit I am completely out of the loop here guys.

Explain it like I am really really dense.
