Well, I'll try to get on a Lambda and screenshot it sometime. Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me, or maybe it's a graphics setting thing, or just not as obvious as I think it is.

Nova fist's effect probably varies wildly depending on your video settings, that expanding blast you mention is I believe entirely composed of smoke-looking particles.

That explains it - I've had to run with a Particle count of 100 since I20 launched - all those people running super speed while waiting for the trial to start was giving me migraines.
