Numina Question

Howdy folks! I have a question about the Numina's Convalescence proc. If I have the proc on a click power (like Radiant Aura from Radiation Emission), will the effects be permanent, or will I have to spam the click to keep it?

I know people usually put the proc on the "Health" power, myself included. However, I like the ranged defense bonus that 6-slotting the set can give to my aspiring rad/sonic defender, which will put me just above the ranged soft-cap once I have all of the prospective enhancements equipped.

My intent is to be able to solo an AV. Due to the level difference, would the defense soft-cap be higher than 45% against an AV? Radiation Emission is very endurance heavy with both toggles running. Basically, if the Numina proc is not constant on click powers, I'm trying to figure out if it would be best used to give me 3.75% ranged defense to put me at 46.1% ranged defense, or to give me more recovery.

I have a HUGE suspicion that the Numina proc will NOT be constant on the click power (I hope it is though). Can anyone tell me with certainty whether or not the Numina proc's effects remain active on a click power?

If anyone is curious about my build or willing to critique it, here it is:

I won't go into your build since that kind of thing is really not my specialty. (not that anything really IS )

As far as the Numina proc goes, yes, you will have to click Radiant Aura at least once every 2 minutes to have the proc go off.

If it's in a passive like Health then the effect is perma. Otherwise in a click power, it only procs when the power is clicked and will last for 120 seconds afterwards.

Losing faith in humanity, one person at a time.

In 'always-on' or toggle powers, the effect is not technically perma. It just has a chance to fire every time the power ticks, which is every 10 seconds. I guess the right way, semantically, to phrase it would be that the proc chance is perma in auto powers, which is what you may have meant anyway. I just wanted to clarify, just in case.

Just a suggestion, but what you could do (if you want that 6th bonus) is just 6 slot health. Take a slot from your 6 slotted Radiant Aura, the rest of your slots from Lingering Radiation (it really only needs a base acc IO on a high recharge build IMO), and the endurance reduction from Weave, and you could use those to have it 6 slotted. You can then move the Miracle proc to your radiant aura, or save it for another character. If you went Ageless destiny, the lack of the Miracle proc won't matter.

Keep in mind I haven't actually looked at your build in mids, so I'm making a lot of assumptions.

In toggles, the procs with 100% chance and 120 sec duration (+regen, +recovery, stealth, etc) turn off when the toggle does. This is VERY important to note in toggles that count enemies near you, like Rise to the Challenge. If there's nothing near, the system treats the power as if it were off, and the proc shuts down too, until another enemmy gets near.

I have 6 slotted it, but on Willpower and in Rise to the Challenge.

Thanks for clarifying! Remembering to click Radiant Aura once every 2 sounds a little tedious on the mind. I just tweaked my build around more and grabbed World of Confusion for the purple confuse set so that I don't need 6 Numinas anymore. Good to know for sure now!
