Also, there's a bug that lets some Premium accounts play Epic ATs without paying for an unlock. It seems to be connected to the account having unlocked Epic ATs before the transition to CoH: Freedom. However, according to any comments we've seen from the devs, this doesn't seem to be intended behavior, so if you have a free Epic unlock on your account, don't plan on it remaining unlocked forever - they may fix it at any time.

I'm not new to the game, and I unlocked Peacebringer and Warshade back when it used to be level 50. I never had the desire to play villain side, so I never unlocked Widow or Soldier.
My funds deteriorated and I stopped playing until I could come back for free. I wanted to make a heroside widow, so I leveled up a villain to twenty, but when I went to see my unlocked content....it was still locked.
There are two things that I can think of that might be prohibiting me....
First.) I played a villainside SCRAPPER to twenty. Does it have to be a villain archetype to work?
Second.) I'm a free player. Can free players still unlock Epic ATs?
