Checkout the Agility Alpha. It provides end mod, recharge and defense buffs which can help your build as well. If you switch to Agility and/or get a Glad Armor +3% def, your build can easily transition to purple sets while maintaining softcap def.

Was going to go Scrapper but I made the toon and leveled it long ago, claimed 5 xp boosters without noticing it was a brute.
I wouldnt enjoy the low damage output of the brute. Scrapper pwns brute damage.

Doesn't matter the brute still does better surviving terms.
