Cave Entrances (repaint)
If you defeat the Manticore automaton, the cave should highlight with a waypoint. Judging by the objective in your Nav bar, it seems like Manticore still lives on your missions.

If you defeat Manticore and you don't get a waypoint, bug it. There should be one. This is hardly the only cave entrance in that instance.

Then definitely bug it. If the waypoint isn't showing up, that's a bug and should be fixed, and fixed fast. It's damn near impossible to find that cave without some sort of waypoint.

They did a lot of work on waypoints and markers with Freedom to include those stupid spinning coins and the needlessly large waypoint markers, so it's possible some trigger got broken in the process. Definitely file a bug report, and I suggest including the results from both /loc and /whereami, just to be thorough.

OK I can accept that we have sometime no additional help from the "mini" map or compass BUT need you paint the cave "doors" in the same color as the surrounding?
In e.g. "The Horror of War" story arc, 3th mission "Investigate Nemesis Base" points to picture, this was frustrating. 2 of Objective are well hidden inside a cave without any signs that there is one.
The only reason I finish this mission in the first place was thanks to the information found from cohtitan wiki.
1: Go behind the base area, about as far directly opposite from the entrance as you can go while remaining on the main floating island area.
2: Using the coordinates system, its location is (-3908.8, 1326.5, 833.5)
Time to paint the("all") cave entrance(s) ala the Atlas Park one to Fort Trident or add "always" a waypoint. :P
