which alpha incarnate ability should i pick

so far, i havn't picked by alpha at all, so I need some advice which one would work with me the best.. I'm Grav/energy dominator, by the way

I'm an Earth/Energy Dominator, and I picked Musculature for the following reasons:

- I have recharge coming out of my ears, so Spiritual wouldnt make a huge difference. It also has no effect on Domination, beyond affecting Hasten.
- My endurance is pretty much under control with Domination firing off every 90 seconds. So Cardiac is out. And Muscultaure Radial proivdes an extra slot of End Mod in Stamina anyway.
- I have no native +Damage bonuses, so the proprotional effect of the +30% or so damage from higher tier Musculature is bigger than it would be for say a Brute, who wallows in damage bonuses all the time.
- Some of my powers can be underslotted for damage with Musculature picking up the slack. Eg Expedient Reinforcement in my pet is very nice for bonuses, but only provides +80% or so damage.

I'd also maybe consider the newer ones like Agility or Intuition. It all depends on what bonuses you already have through inventions.

In my (limited) experience it's a choice between Agility (for elec primary and endurance-hungry guys who jam on the Power Sink or Dark Consumption button a lot), Spiritual (builds that can get Hasten close to perma but not stick it), or Musculature (EVERYONE ELSE).

I will continue to argue for Intuition Radial since it provides damage (good), hold duration (also good), and range.

Range is under-appreciated for Dominators IMO because it lets you do things like shoot your AoEs Immob from out of the range of most enemies which lets you kite an entire mob. If you play Gravity like I do and are spamming Crushing Field a lot anyway (because you've put 3-4 damage procs into it) this can probably add a fair bit of control.

I love Recharge...and the new changes to Gravity are tasty...so I would recommend spiritual.

I found myself taking cardiac for the end and range boost. Even with the refill every 90s some of my dom's are pretty end hungry - especially my plant/fire/fire who is dropping carrion creepers and Rain of fire on everything and using fireball a lot (which is fairly end heavy as its in an APP). The range boost is also VERY nice - gives me more coverage on fire breath and a nice boost to blaze.

For my grav/thorny, I chose Intuition Radial Paragon. I feel it synergizes with the toon for the following reasons:
- He's not perma-dom so the added duration in the holds is really cool
- the dmg boost is always welcome on a dom (to echo what Talen said)
- range is handy since he's a full ranged dom
- boost of slow effects helps grav and keeps baddies at range
- boost of def debuff helps the side effect from Thorny

My plant/earth had to take cardiac despite perma dom as all the aoes put a serious hurt on the poor blue bar (creepers, sleet, ice storm), but it is definitely an outlier case.

So I guess to sum up I would go with what Talen said, adding Intuition in the mix, especially for Grav or non perma-doms.

+range kicks royal *** on Seeds of Confusion too.
(I use Intuition on my plant/fire/fire but also use ageless for endurance and consume too in a pinch)
