Best lore pets for crab w/pets?
Here you can check the ability of each pet:http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Lore_Slot_Abilities
I pick up Arachnos for the theme, The fortunata have MIND link and Singel target heal. With the low HP that spiderlings have is better to give him +def since Lore pet will be following you or the lore boss.
If you want the AoE then pick Cimerorans soldier lore. Idk how well it performe.
I want /Fire stalker. Because nothing says stealth like dumping a can of gasoline on yourself and lighting a match. -Morac
I was thinking of shooting for one of the healing pets to heal spiderlings... good idea? If so, which do you all recommend? There's so many that it's hard to boil it down to just one without prior experience.
edit: in particular, I was wondering if the pets w/ an AoE heal used it well or not. |
Not knowing your build or your game play setting it would be sort of hard to give you a real answer.
Whats your build ?
What difficult level do you normally play on solo ?
Are your pets Perma ?
What other Incarnates do you have atm ?
What are you Defenses like ?
As an example I have a huntsman which is range capped. I have the 2 pet sets which are perma and I have barrier which might be redundant for me but it does cap me out and maxes out my resistances as well. I am fighting Malta on a 4/8 with Barrier and my pets. That being said I went with the Spider incarnate and bane for theme / looks.
If I was not perma pets I would have went with a heal and some sort of flying buffing or healing pet. But not for my pets, I could careless about them. I want to survive.

I'm in the process of getting barrier for the pets. And for myself during incarnate trials (I'm 45% capped elsewhere). My pets are basically perma - I have about 8 seconds downtime @193% recharge.
My problem lies in pets finishing a fight in the red - they could easily survive the next x8 spawn if they were topped off en route.
I took the offensive Arachnos pets (Toxic Tarantula and Bane Spider) for theme as well as the toxic damage going nicely with Venom Grenade's hefty resistance debuff. I give my pets ~20% to all with TT:maneuvers and leadership maneuvers, so they're pretty survivable anyway, and I took Rebirth destiny to top them up now and again.
I do have Warworks partway up its tree (from before Arachnos were added) - the boss is pretty good for damage and the battle orb gives defence and a single target heal which would no doubt help.
If you're finding them squishy you might get more out of the various pet set procs - 2x+5% defence and 2x+10% resistance available if you can spare the slots.
