Invention Discount Coupons not working

Update:
The fact that Invention Discount Coupons are not working as intended has been verified by at least one other player.
According to Support, when they reviewed my case they were unable to verify a game error after reviewing the game logs, so they would not give me back the infamy I lost, or the coupons.
So fair notice - if you use Invention Discount Coupons for the foreseeable future, you're wasting them.
(Sometimes, I wish there could be a Dev thumbs up button for quality posts, because you pretty much nailed it.) -- Ghost Falcon

How are you determining that they are not working? Does the crafting cost change when you check/uncheck the discount coupon in the crafting window? I'm curious because I think they were working the last time I used one, but I didn't check the actual change to my total inf. I know the display changed, but I did not confirm that the correct amount was actually spent.
Yeah, that's it -- the displayed crafting cost changes, but if you actually note the influence totals before and after, you realize the full cost was deducted -- there's no discount. Most of us have so much influence we never noticed. I wonder how long it's been this way -- has it EVER worked?

I noticed last night when crafting recipies that I was not receiving the 25% discount when using Invention Discount Coupons. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this same issue or not.
