Logitech Setpoint keystroke issues..

I just installed Windows 7. I am using a Logitech Marble Wheel Trackball with the Logitech Setpoint software for the device settings. In the settings there is a customization whereby a key can be set as one of the buttons. City of Heroes is unaffected by the key assignment but it worked in another game. It worked fine with COH in Windows XP. Does anyone have any thoughts on this problem?

It depends on the version of SetPoint you have running.

I'm using 6.30.41, so I can set keys for CoH by going to the Advanced Settings tab on the left, and clicking on Configure. From there, I can click the Add... button and browse to cityofheroes.exe and then assign the buttons to do things while the game is running.

In older versions, that option is availble on the Button Settings tab, and shows up under the picture of your mouse when you click on buttons that can have special assignments. IIRC, it's any button except Left Click and Right Click.

Thank you for the reply. I have the button assignments set. They just aren't working in City of Heroes. There is only one button I can set which is the middle click. In some applications you can specify the .exe and setpoint has never had that options but again its always worked in XP. It just isnt working in COH. I'm using the download from logitech for windows 7 which is 6.32.
