TW/REGEN Build

Anyone have suggestions on a scrapper TW/Reg build? I will be the first to admit I'm not a numbers person so Mids tends to be foreign to me. I would appreciate any help/suggestions.

Would probably be easy to shoot for 32.5% s/l defense and then cram in as much recharge as you can. I can see using Kinetic Combats in your ST attacks and Oblits in the AoEs, but the Oblits would limit one of your regen powers from getting a DW set for the 5% recharge.

Elsewhere in the build, pick up Soul Mastery for Shadow Meld. Could keep Defensive Sweep as a LotG mule, too (just take it later in the build).

Mids is not working for me for some reason. I need a good Titan Weapons/ Regen build for a brute. Right now I have a level 20 so first give me a level 20 build with SOs and then give me a level 50 build with IOs.

Actually, I might suggest an alternative to the Smashing/Lethal and instead attempt to pile in Ranged/AoE while using Defensive Sweep as a tool to keeping one's self alive rather than just shipping it off to the mule farm. Sweeps' ability to get Melee up to 45% on one or two applications is a very strong aspect to a TW/Regen's tool-kit. Assume Weave: 6%, Steadfast: 3%, Maneuvers: 3.5%, Combat Jumping 2.5%, Gaussian's Set: 2.5%, totals out to 17.5%. If afforded: PvP+Def for 20.5%. Come up with 12% to Ranged/AoE (three 3% Bonuses each, should be more than capable), and appropriate slotting in Defensive Sweep would put the build at 45% Melee and 32.5% Ranged/AoE. Along with using Sweep, the chance of piling up to 59% for iTrials also improves */Regen's survivability.

Yes I also thought about this. I merely did an s/l def build based on my experience with building a km/regen and a stj/regen. I also prefer positional defense, however, it is far more slot intensive to build for compared to s/l defense.

I've been toying with the idea for a little bit and here's what I came up with. Didn't even touch AoE defense bonuses because you can't without sacrificing recharge.

And it's more expensive with the inclusion of the PVP IO and a purple set. All in all, I'd say stick to s/l defense on a /regen.

Felt compelled to put it together anyway, just to show it. It's a bit shy in a few areas (not quite 32.5% Ranged/AoE, and Hasten is 8/s shy of 'perma'), but without spending more time to tweak it, it's well enough to display the example.

If you have Beast Run, Ninja Run, or Steam Jump - don't take a travel power unless it's an absolute must for concept. That's just my opinion, of course.

Then there are temp powers like Jet Packs. You really don't need a travel power unless you PvP.

I guess it's because it takes me out of my comfort zone that makes it seem weird I do have the other powers...just out of the box. Doesn't hurt to try, thanks.

Some of the larger zones can be annoying without a proper travel power. But between one of the booster pack powers, Oro portals, trains, and Base portals, I don't see a lot of problems getting around in the game.

It is weird at first, but to me, not having to worry about that power choice opens up options to make my toons better.

I shoved a lysosome in def sweep with a +5 boosted def/+rech lotg for massive +def bonus when swinging the def sweep.... It makes a HUGE difference in the melee def boosted.
