Making a Ice/Elec Dom
That would be an odd setup, ice/ I would say is pretty PBAoE friendly while /elec is more ST or anti-PBAoE (grr thunderstrike). Ice/ would work best with psi mastery due to stacking confuses. Earth/ doesn't really need psi mastery (stone pet is immune to psi damage/effects already). My vote is earth/ice/psi though ice/earth/psi could work. Electric's benefit is -end and it's all or nothing so if no primary end drain /elec's benefits are diminished.

The inverse of your original, Elec/Ice/Psi would be fine. As would Elec/Psi/Ice (potentially modest AV soloer there if you can stomach the occasional melee).
Even Ice/Elec wouldn't be all bad. Elec Assault just kind of leaves some DPS to be desired.
Having made an Elec/Ice the weekend before last, I have to say its been greatly enjoyable. You almost have too many ways to control targets. . .if such a thing were possible.

I've searched around and I've heard about Elec Assault not being so good. So far, I've been playing as Ice/Earth Dom and I just got Slick and it's fun to see the mobs tripping. XD One reason that I'm hesitant to try Electric Control is that I'm only VIP temporary and I don't have Going Rogue expansion so I'm kinda limited on some powersets (Though I bought Controller cause I love it, but that was my early Christmas gift to myself, haha.)
Eh, nevermind, I take back what I said about Ice/Earth. I'm now facing a bunch of Seers all at once and I'm getting my butt kicked and I'm building up XP debt no matter how many times I tried to change my strategy. Some of the Earth requires me to be on "ground-level" and sadly no AoE hold. I may just stick with building either another controller or try to find a different build for dominator, one that I can team up and solo. But thank you all for your advice and helps.
FWIW I find most Dominators go through a phase around levels 10-30 where they die a lot. The controls aren't quite reliable enough yet and the damage isn't there to kill enemies fast enough.
For Ice specifically, my best experiences have come from Ice/Fire Assault. Fire's damage powers through a lot of possibly bad situations, and the PBAoE endurance replinishment in Consume matches Arctic Air's needs very well. Ice/Psi also seems like it would be a nice combo.
Ice though in general is very vulnerable to getting mezzed due to using mostly soft control and a toggle. If you go permadom later the issue mostly resolves itself, otherwise IMO it's a bit of a painful existence.
ice had the problem of the AoE immob stops the knockdown of ice slick. so mobs will still attack you.

I've been playing with my Ill/Rad Controller (was with Ill/Cold, but rerolled later) and I'm curious about the Dominator since it's kinda like a counterpart of the Controller (at first glance). Anyways, I wanted to make a dual-type elementalist dominator and was wondering if Ice Control/Electric Assault would be a good combo? I saw that the Elec Assault has a summon pet, so that would mean that I could have Jack Frost and Volt Sentry out, right? I've tried looking for a build guide, but I guess it's either a rare set or not a good one? As for APP, I'm liking the Psionic Mastery.
Edit:
Actually, after looking for other various elemental combinations, I'm also willing to try any of the combinations of Ice, Earth, or Electric (I'm no pyromancer, sorry!). Would any combo sets go well with Psi Mastery?
