My MM Build..How am i doing?
Looks pretty good for a first (ish?) attempt. Most of the slotting that isnt the best, will come with a better understand of what powers are doing. Checking their detailed info really helps.
Such as slotting hover with 2 defence buffs, when the difference will be tiny at best..a lot of better spots to but slots.
A caution about group fly..99% of people HATE it. Totally hate it, and will scream at you to turn it off, if it so much as gets them for a second. Solo it it fine, but I'd be careful on teams.
Also, in case you just forget, be sure to slot your inherent fitness powers..especially Swift with fly speed, since you are going that route.
I would also maybe skip Share Pain. The damage buff means nothing to you (until/if you get personal attacks) and between bots bubbles, prot bot healing, and your other 2 heals..you shouldn't really need it.
For epic powers..well, a resist based shield stacks nicely with World of Pain, but general, defence based ones help more. Chill mastery is good for def..something like Force for resists. Both have a average blast attack too.

Woo it actually worked. Nothing expensive or different to what you had, besides teh karma kb IO (best 75 merits you can spend, bar none). CHill mastery will ruin your costume..that matters to some people.
Ah some great tips, thank you! I had avoided Def buffs in the protection bots because i assumed it was for their personal defense. I see now that it is for the bubble? if so very cool! now if i could get them to cast it on me first thing!
I'm sad about hover and def but i will keep it non the less its truly useful mostly because i can hover above a fight or steps etc to keep my mechas happy and healthy.Though i wonder if combat jumping and hover stack even though i'd hate to run even more toggles than i already am!
Share pain believe it or not has come in handy both grouping and solo. It is a very large heal very fast cast the damage it does to me is minor, but being able to heal my assault or a group tank for 500+ life has saved me more than a few times.
Group Fly on the other hand, yeah i know about the getting yelled at part. Some folks just don't understand your dragging an army around behind you and that seems to draw a lot of attention. So i think that power might be out the door..It seems to almost be just as fast if not faster to fly to my destination and re-summon, than to move at a slow pace so they all keep up! Then i can take burst ( mostly cuse i want the cool unlockable rifles i've seen :P)
About detailed information is there a place that has the numbers? the wiki only has a description of powers but if i could see raw data or something near it , that would help i'm sure.
Lastly about epics. costume is indeed important to me so how do you mean -ruin-? When you mention force are you talking about field mastery? cuse i have to admit i was already leaning towards field or charge( charge because if it's hold)
Yeah the def buffs you put in ProBots boost their bubbles, the ones they cast on each other and you. If you just wait a little bit after summoning and upgrading the bots, they will buff everything, as well as you. They are pretty good at keeping them up while doing missions too.
Combat jumping and hover DO stack, and the immob protection in CJ works well with hover.
Also, you dont need to group fly somewhere and re-summon. If you cross a map (with your pets lagging behind) assuming they havent died, they will just appear in the mission when you enter.
The chill mastery shield, puts you in blocks of ice, and you cant change the color. And yes, force = field mastery.
Check out the Mace mastery shield, its a pretty impressive def bonus. Mu mastery adds strong resists... But then I tend to play very tanky mm's.
Also the mu mastery electric fences is awesome, aoe immobilize with -kb, great for keeping them in a burn patch.
Really is worth switching, if only to give yourself more options. Some people will say the redside content isnt good, or they just like it. Just silly..missing half the game.
I am not 100% sure how it works, but I think you can switch sides now (your like lvl 38?), become a villain, do the first bit of your patron, then switch right back, with patrons still open.
Does take a few days though.
D is right, you have to switch to full villain to get the patrons but once you get the first badge from them, you can go rogue and still have access to the pools and if you want access to blue side ouroboros portal you can go back full hero then vig (I prefer to vig if I can because blue side tends to be busier than red on the servers I play on so PuG TFs are likely and port access makes a lot of them quicker).
The build posted does some really useful things with just Common IOs. If you decide to go with set IOs, look for HP increases. Better HPs + Bodyguard Mode + Suppress Pain leads to some brokenness that is just ridiculous. My Thugs/Pain build regens 33HP/sec without accolades. Also, it sounds like you're a badger, so make sure to pick up the badges necessary for accolades (look em up on paragon wiki for explanations) since they are a great boost to your character. If you decide that Chill Mastery is the way you want to go, take a long hard look at Hoarfrost since in addition to a self heal it is a +HP power. More HPs + Suppress Pain is pretty spiffy.
Dechs Kaison has a Bots/Traps build posted here that I used to help me when I started looking at sets for my MMs that gave me some pointers. As a bit of friendly advice, try and post the data chunk when you post mids builds (there's an option on the export window under the color scheme choice). It let's people copy and paste your build into the program so they can look over your totals and give you specific feedback about where you may encounter issues.
In fact, I'll just post my build to give you some ideas...plus maybe somebody will look at it and tear it apart. It's expensive without choosing PvP IOs but I plan for the end game so I just try to maximize whatever I'm building for and give me a long term goal. You can look at swapping powers for your preference and specific powerset.

Well i decided to switch, i believe D is correct from what i've read yes you can switch do your patron arc switch back and keep the pool open what i'm not sure is if you can also chose from the APP as well.
Also i am not sure which to go for Mace or MU.. really the difference seems to be def or res.. which is better to have? I want to say Res. since my base def is so low to begin with.. any suggestions?
Yes. i am defiantly going to use set IOs, just putting it off till 47 to give me time to save inf. and reward merits for my luck of the gamblers i want to try to get world and pain bringer close to perma, heh i do a lot of research lol Thank you for the build post.. and the tip for posting data chunks i could not figure out how to do that!
And yes. i like the badges hehe everything is new to me, but i have discovered the accolades and i'm working on those only need fake nemisis to get my 10% hp badge!
Ok so here it is again using a bit of everyone's advice and some of my own.. notice group fly is dropped for combat jumping if four pools is to much i could keep Gfly or add rifle burst kinda wouldn't mind having my rifle back i always feel like i have my hands tied behind my back when i get jumped with no minions out LoL!
Plus i wanted to test that whole data chunk thing out and it worked! I even added my set total pitiful as they may be.
I think i got it now.. well MIDs operation not sure about the build but meh i'm having fun learning, Thanks guys!
I also picked up a respec token they were half price!

Well i have been playing CoH for a little over a month now brought here by my boyfriend who has since disappeared but i am still around! Any way! I am still learning all the terminology so pardon me if i do not sound hip or use the wrong words.
My first AT and my fave is a Bots(or mechas as the good Malice says) MM. At the time i made her i was brand new so picked PD because i wanted to heal. Probably as not the best choice but 37 levels later i'm still having a blast! I lurk the boards and have about 20 bookmarks for different builds, guides, rants you name it, I got Mids so i wanted to accomplish a few things 1) to get a critique perhaps of my current build, to see if i'm on the right track 2) i wanted to play with mids! hey that thing is neat!
A few things to note one as i said earlier i tend to solo a lot perhaps more than i should or want to so i try to make my babies and myself rather sturdy. another thing is i am still real iffy about group fly. I have used it in some situations alone but really only a hand full of times one of those times it was not for my bots but for that silly Fault line when i was rescuing him from the dreaded Rikti ( i mean really that boy refused to jump!)...I'm totlay open to alternate suggestions for it.. i use conduit because on the times i have grouped it has saved the day! Also i'm mostly waiting on 47 to start using sets.
So here is the build don't yell at me about the pink i have no clue what it's going to look like i am hoping pretty! As i said it is only 37 the slot placement is bugging me for some reason. OH and i am blue side i do not want to alignment shift with her so maybe while i'm bugging you guys you could throw out some suggestions for my upcoming APP?
