/EA. the revamp of the power set made it strong.
Any secondary will go well with DM. The self heal covers the holes in any set that needs healing, and it has the best self damage buff of any set. On a brute DM I like fire, Elec, EA, and SR. I Like the added offense all of those builds offer in more damage, faster recharge, or both. Shield is better on a scrapper and I find the extra survival of inv unnecessary. As for dark armor, it's a thematic fit, but I think the perks of DM are wasted on a DA toon as you don't need an extra heal when you have dark Regen.
I personally love the pairing of Dark/Invul. It is crazy strong. The two mesh very very well together. I have run a Dark/Inv Brute fora few months on Freedom. Was leveling one, got to 39 on Virtue, and rerolled the concept yesterday as a Tank. It is also pegged as one of the most survivable Scrap combos. GL in your choice and have fun.
I have really been looking at rolling a brute...I want to play DM because I haven't played it before and I have a great concept for it...I think either regen invulnerable or DA is the secondary I want to go with...for survivability any suggestions? I know regen very well but I am not familiar with the other 2. I suppose I could be talked into another primary with a DA secondary and retain the concept if there's just some stellar combo that I am unaware of at this time.
Any ideas?
