It depends.
My DA brute values e/n defense just as much as s/l. My blaster just wanted s/l.

It's helpful to have binds that combine inspos for you if you want to run @ 32.5.
Combining inspos doesn't count against your actions, so you can do it while other powers are activating or are queued.
And, yeah, it depends on your toon and its power sets and ho you have built the rest of it, and what and how much it benefits from other things like rech, heal, etc
What about listing what we toons we have and defensively what we did with them? So people can be oh... so that's what so and so did with his whatever blaster or oh I can ask <insert your name> about his Earth Sonic Mu controller ....
Electric/Electric/Mace Blaster Softcapped to S/L Defense
AR/Ice/Cold Blaster 32.5% to S/L (Currently.. I have a softcapped to S/L build on paper just havent spent time getting the IO sets)
Ice/Rad/Cold Controller 32.5% to S/L
Earth/Sonic/Earth Controller softcapped to S/L (well he's 47 but by the time he's be done he should be softcapped or close to the softcap)
SS/ELA/Soul Brute softcapped to S/L atop ELA resists
EM/SR/Soul Brute softcapped to M/R/A
Storm/Sonic/Power Defender softcapped to Ranged atop Tough and TI
Dark/Sonic/Leviathan Defender softcapped to Ranged atop Shark Skin.. and she throws FISH!

Which is better? I would assume 45% for just s/l but it may depend on at. An at with a heal or with high hp may want all around 32.5 def since they can take a few hits.
