There really ins't much to it. Ever since they released the latest issue of COH, the game has had terrible issues with memory leaks.

I actually have one of those logitech keyboards with an LCD screen that I've been using to track CoH's ram usage, and the memory leak happens as follows:

The game begins running using about 35% of my ram.

Over the course of about 1 and a half to two hours, it jumps to around 60% ram use, at which point I start having framerate issues.

At 70%, the game starts having severe graphical glitches, and becomes unplayable.

Is there a fix for this? And is anyone else having this problem?

I am only chiming on the 'does anyone else...?' question, to say that no, indeed, I am not having this issue. I played for *hours* this weekend, and didn't see any problems whatsoever. None.

I'm on a Win Vista Ultimate 32 bit, 4G, 9600GT system. In case that matters. And I don't run a ton of stuff in the background.

It is HIGHLY interesting to note that in quite more than just a few threads with an issue... it's got an ATI video card in it.

I'm not saying that's it... but that's it. No, not really, I kid.

/really.
//Well, maybe not.
///Just sure does seem to be that way, though...
////I think there was only 1 NVidia one... and a slew of way-old(tm) Intels or such...
/////all the others: ATI.
/////perhaps a Hijack This so we can see what you're runnin'...?
//////Oh, yeah, and if you leave the updater/launcher up, that seems to be a problem...? I never leave it on.

August 31, 2012. A Day that will Live in Infamy. Or Information. Possibly Influence. Well, Inf, anyway. Thank you, Paragon Studios, for what you did, and the enjoyment and camaraderie you brought.
This is houtex, aka Mike, signing off the forums. G'night all. - 10/26/2012
Well... perhaps I was premature about that whole 'signing off' thing... - 11-9-2012

I don't leave the launcher on. Gimme a second and I'll get that Hijack data for ya...

I believe ATI has fixed some memory leak issues with their OpenGL drivers in their recent releases. You may want to try the 11.9 Catalyst drivers.

Just wanted to report that updating my AMD drivers to 11.9 seems to have fixed the issue, so if anyone else is having this problem, go ahead and follow Tex's advice! Thanks a bunch!
