New WP/EM tank

Unfortunately, I started this fellow (Major Justice/ Liberty server) before subscribing to VIP or reading these forums. Everything has been fine up until his 20's and now he starting to not be fun.

Apart from a complete rebuild, what can I do to make him more viable?

Rumor has it that EM is being looked at for changes in a future patch/issue. No timeline yet that I'm aware of.

As far as the short term, don't play him if you're not enjoying him. I'd argue that just about any pri/sec combo of any archetype is "viable". If you care more about performance than theme, the current /EM isn't the set to go with.

Well, I posted for assistance because I do want to play him. Unfortunately, I'm having the dual issue of not holding aggro when teamed with more than two others and overkill as I proc after the bad guys fall down.

Taunt and Whirling hands should be more than enough to hold enemies attention on a team. I've got a wp/em with nearly a thousand hours played on it and nobody's ever died because I wasn't keeping the enemies attention - with 16 mobs or less in play.

When you get total focus and energy transfer in the 30s don't bother using them on anything less than a boss, as you'll just end up punching a corpse. Your teaming aggro holding chain should be heavily based around the first three punches and whirling hands.

Occasionally the odd brute or scrapper running /shield will grab some aggro - but you're not there to defend them. They're designed to be able to withstand a few enemies beating on them. You're there to absorb the hits for everyone else.

Gotcha. I actually went in last night and used my free respec to move my enhancements around. I didn't get to team up with anyone, but I put a hurtin' on quite a few Council in Independence Port and he seems to be doing much better at keeping the rotation up.
