Ufh, now that TW is out... TW/DA vrs TW/Elec
Titan Weapons are a tad heavy on End since its a AoE heavy set, so Ele with a End Redux/Heal, a Plus End power often, and +rech = sweet goodness!
Going to miss the fun and nice people here at CoH. Feel free to add me on PS3/XBox360

Personally, I'll be going Elec. TW/DA will just eat your endurance for breakfast.

I wasn't expecting /elec to be fotm-ish (although, it's a really logical choice given the TW setup of strengths & weaknesses, so I'm not surprised) - I'll be going /elec on my brute as well (/wp scrap & inv/ tanker).
Pros:
- The defense from TW goes well with a resist set.
- TW is end heavy (as everyone points out) & end management is, of course, one of /elecs specialties.
- From my testing, TW does *not* need hasten, or really even benefit that much from (for my playstyle) - however a *little* recharge is solid. /elec again delivers here. (I'll be missing out on perma energize though, about 20s downtime).
- dmg aura!
- Clicky/active end & health management is going to trigger lots of redraws.
- Tougher to defcap that something like WP, Inv or even DA.

Should I go
TW/DA, or....
TW/Elec
I really cant tell. And besides these two I am thinking of TW/EA scrapper.DA gets another 'all def' power in cloak, which stacks well with excessive applications of obliteration and makos bite for a large quantity of melee/ranged def, especially when adding in def sweep for lots of melee def. You get a damage aura, a stun aura, a massive heal which works great in huge swamps of mobs (where you want to be anyway with all the aoes in tw), a stealth/def aura, and resists which boost well with that new 27% res alpha.
Elec has lots of resists, so mako/oblit heavy builds with titcoatings or reactives makes up for a lot of ranged/melee def as well (again, especially with def sweep).
Between the two, which do you think is preferential, and why? And is it possible to softcap ranged (and not slaughter my melee def values) with DA? If you post a DA build, could you put it in long format, as I don't have mids and run a linux box? Thanks!!!
