Quick Question-With the newest Incarnate Trials what are the best Incarnate abilities to choose in order to get into UG and successfully complete it?
I see most teams are saying you have to have certain abilities in order to even join their league. Any suggestions?

Freedom Server--GoldenFire Kin, Piler, I AM WAR, Sir Slickshot, Lil Pea, Captain Niteforce, Massive Package, American Chick, Orion K9 and more..

A Clarion Destiny power is helpful, because the final boss does a mag 20 confuse. There aren't any other powers that are specifically needed for UG, although of course they're all helpful in general. Level shifts do help a lot, which means you might want to take that Clarion to t3.

The reason you want level shifts for this can be summed up like this: Multiple level 54+1 AVs. They hurt when you're plain level 50, they also hurt when you're 50+3, but not as much. Try to be at least +2, I'd say.

If you find yourself on a server where the leaders are telling you that you can't join their league because you don't have a specific ability, it's time to transfer your toon to a different server.

True, it IS very frustrating to have to explain to people over and over again the ins and outs of a given trial. However, that's what macro's are for!

I've led 5 UGTs and let any level 50 VIP join. The first two were just ugly, sad, pathetic results - but some astrals were earned, plenty of iXP, and now the folks that were not level shifted are - and the last three have gone smooth as silk.

Not allowing folks into your league is plain foolish for long term success.( i.e. What's that leader gonna do when it's time to bring his alt into the trials? Grind until he has t3 clarion via BAF and LAM because no one will let him in UGT?)

Sure, you may have a few ugly runs because of Confuse (Hello? Bring some escapes, 90 seconds of relief from confuse!) but the good will that's earned will surprise people. Tit for tat, as they say.

However, if your incarnate power choices could be picked by me, yeah, I'd like it if you had t4 clarion. For your alpha, I'd want you to have Agility - so you could have that boost to defense. The less you get hit, the more likely you are to survive to use Clarion.

I would say level shifts are more important than picking specific Incarnate abilities. Clarion is useful to an extent, no doubt, but beyond that a lot of the fights go a lot smoother the more level shifted players there are in the league. As a general rule, I usually ask everyone to bring a character with at least one level shift.

This also avoids the annoying problem of inviting non-VIP 50s to the league and not being able to queue up for the trial. There really needs to be a way for league leaders to isolate which toons do not meet the necessary requirements for play before sending invites.

NOR-RAD - 50 Rad/Rad/Elec Defender - Nikki Stryker - 50 DM/SR/Weap Scrapper - Iron Marauder - 50 Eng/Eng/Pow Blaster
Lion of Might - 50 SS/Inv/Eng Tanker - Darling Nikkee - 50 (+3) StJ/WP/Eng Brute - Ice Giant Kurg - 36 Ice/Storm Controller

The game's strange way of telling you this is, when you try to queue, you will get an error message in the channel 'Looking For Group'. I've gotten error messages before from it saying X player needs to talk to their TF contact before the league can launch.

The seemingly unrelated channel name and the fact that it's not added to any tab by default make it very easily missed.

If you play enough to get another Destiny power up to T3 or T4, consider also building a Rebirth, one of the heal/regen with large area ones. You may be on a trial with enough Clarions along (or Tactics, etc.) that you can swap it in, and I find the Rebirth just generally handy on all the trials if a bunch of the league has taken damage. It can often prevent a wipe of a large enough chunk of the league to trigger cascade failure of the rest and a complete regroup.

Rebirth is VERY useful in UGT... *BUT* just be extra careful about using your Rebirth in the fight against the Avatar. If you are confused when you fire it off you will heal the Avatar, and that is bad. Very bad. I am not saying that you can not use Rebirth in the last fight (although quite a few league leaders have been requesting that no one use Rebirth and Barrier in that fight), but if you do you need to be careful when doing so.

Rebirth is also an excellent destiny to have for Keyes trials.
