Critical Damage for Assault Rifle

Actually, no. Psionic and Toxic are resisted quite a bit by mobs, as every robot gets large resists to them. It's actually something more like:

Lethal
Smashing
Energy
Psionic
Toxic
Cold
Neg
Fire

And to be more clear about burn, all versions of the power had avoid removed. However, that avoid was on top of the natural game avoid for damage patches, and thus some avoid remains. Scrappers, who don't have taunt in their aura, don't have anything couteracting this natural avoid affect, so enemies run.

Ah ok (regarding the Avoid discussion.)

I don't think I can agree with your list, because if you noticed, I referenced 'for the majority of the game.' I understand that lately people have been arguing about psionic/toxic because the iTrials severely weaken that type of damage, but again, that is such a tiny portion of the game compared to your entire career.

Nah, those are from an old spreadsheet that listed the exact resistances of every enemy group in the game and averaged them as you saw fit. Had the AVs too. Not just me making it up, and I'll try and find the spreadsheet to show what I mean.

If toxic isn't the least resisted in the majority of the game, then something is broken. It initially was a no-name type of damage when introduced, then renamed to toxic later. It was designed to be less resisted. Like I said, I am intentionally ignoring the iTrials since they are such a small part of the game world.

I think I remember that list. It was made way before people had ever heard of incarnate trials if I remember? :3

Just for clarity, as I think there's some confusion here in wording:

Lethal and Smashing remain the most commonly resisted damage types. A large portion of the enemies in game usually have 10-30% resistance to these, especially Lethal (teh sad).

But Psionic and Toxic are the most heavily resisted. It's not as common to run in to something with Psionic or Toxic resistance as it is the other types in the game (especially pre-level 40), but most things with resistance to either usually has a lot of resistance to them, especially Toxic (which I remember some things had 100% resistance to).

Ah yes, clarity. I meant to list it in order of commonality, not how heavily they are resisted WHEN they are resisted.
