To my eyes, it looks like the Mac patch was not packaged correctly. The patch downloads correctly. The unrar step proceeds without error; I see the usual "PS" directory in the Beta app. However the PatchManifest.xml file is missing. The installer logs back up this interpretation.
Anyone successfully updated to the current Beta patch?

Uninstall and re-install the beta and see if that fixes it.
