Texture problems
What model is your video card? And did you recently change drivers for it?
(As far as not having problems with other 3D applications, CoH is done in OpenGL, whereas most games these days use DirectX.)

Yeah, I had the problem in another game and compared to CoH, updated my video drivers and the problem persisted even after being idle for several hours while I slept it off.
It was more prevalent in DirectX. I've updated drivers and rebooted, i'm going to pretend it's dust and if I can see it again, i'm going to see if I can screenshot the problem.

You might also try turning Geometry Buffers off the on again. A couple of times, there has been a strange 'bar' that appeared in a spot when at a certain angle. Doing that action cleared it right up.

Additionally, this might be a problem with heat build up (yes, even if it happens as soon as you load a game). You might want to pop open the side panel to your computer (if it's a desktop, of course) and make sure that the cooling fan on your card is spinning and not clogged with dust, and if either of those things are an issue, power off the system and try to clean it out with some compressed air or a vacuum cleaner. Then, of course, make sure that you keep the system somewhere that the exhaust and air intake fans aren't right up against a wall or furniture to prevent this occurring in the future. If the fan on the graphics card is broken, you probably need to replace the entire card, which currently looks to cost about $150 on NewEgg.com.
If it's a laptop, then you can still check the fans and intakes for dust and clean them out, but there's not a whole lot else that can be done if you've developed a heating problem. If the cooling fan on the graphics chip/board is broken, then it's probably time to look into getting a new laptop.

Hello,
I'm experiencing problems that may or not be client/game related. As an example, I was in Peregrine and along the street looking at some buildings and their entrances. The stairs leading up to the front door were fine, the railings/sides however had some multicolored texture in stead of the grey/brown brick I'm used to seeing.
This didn't occur anywhere else in zone and my client froze/crashed shortly thereafter. Looked fine on relog.
Looks to me like a corrupted texture cache with my video card, i'm seeing this problem in other 3d games atm. Thoughts?
