STJ/WP, end issues a problem later in the game?
Post-IOs and Cardiac Alpha my StJ/Shield Scrapper has functionally unlimited endurance. Willpower should be far easier. So no, at 50 you will have zero problems.
To be honest, with WP secondary I'm stunned that you have any problems now - I assume it's because you haven't slotted any EndRedux into your attacks. As a general rule, attack powers use far more endurance over time than most toggle powers; this is even more true for quick-animating sets like Street Justice, which can fit more attacks (and therefore spend more endurance) into a given timeframe than other sets are capable of. For StJ on SOs you'll want to slot 1-2 Endurance Reduction SOs into each of your attacks and make sure Stamina and QR are both 3-slotted. Anything less is going to be unsustainable for long.
The real truth is that the days of slotting up Stamina and ignoring EndRedux in attack powers are long, long gone. Putting 1-2 EndRedux in your most-used attacks is the norm now. Brutes in particular benefit far more from early EndRedux slotting than from early Damage slotting, due to the mechanics of Fury.
Well this isn't my first brute, ive got 3 others at lvl 50 but this is my first one using WP. I am actually slotted with end redux in all my attacks with the exception of CU, but that is only because i haven't got any other slots for it and its lone slot has a Accuracy. I find that as long as things die fast i am okay, but when i have to fight continueously for an extended period of time my end drops like a rock. I thought it was the number of toggles i run (6 currently between WP and the fighting pool) but when i turned off the fighting pool toggles i was still sucking up a lot of wind.
Are you actually using CU with just the base slot? It costs a ton. I wouldn't push the button at all until you can put some EndRedux into it, the base cost is around 1/6 your maximum endurance. It's a great attack, but way too expensive until it's heavily slotted.

Yeah I probably am firing off CU too much. On my other brutes i have never needed to worry about large dips in end, since ive either used /elec or /EA for my defense sets in the past. I guess i just need to get used to managing my attacks a little better.
On My 50+++ StJ/Wp brute i have
T4 Vigor ( even the health part is at the moment bugged, the end seems works )
Four Performance Shifter + end proc
Numina's convalescence +recovery+regeneration
Miracle +recovery
Superior Conditioning
Two +end Accolade
i run alway 9 toggle and i've almost infinite endurance
Btw StJ is pretty expensive on the endurance side, the powers cycle very fast but the end cost it's high.
Plus Wp runs at least 3 toggle ( MoB - Hs - RTC ), Tough and Weave are a Must to have as for CJ.
So in the end StJ+Wp is viable but you need the help at least of Cardiac
Before incarnate level SO till level 35 and then IO EndRdx in each attack plus in RTC-MoB and the other toggles you use.
Imho the Energy Master APP is a great addon for a WP brute, due the addition of SC and PP.
Accolade that raise end are, imho, a must to have too
So ive been playing this STJ/WP brute for the last week or so and ive been having a blast with him. I just hit lvl 32 and picked up CU and now im noticing that i suck wind faster than a vacuum. I knew when i made this guy that STJ was a heavy end using set, but i am finding it hard to keep my endurance up in any prolonged fight. What i am wondering is that will this be a problem later in the game after i hit 50 and get IO's and incarnate abilities? And also is there anything i can do til then to help mitigate the end use? aside from caring a tray full of blues that is.
