Please Fix the Tailor Lock Bug

What is the "Tailor Lock Bug"?
Obviously, it's a critter that, once you are bitten by it, makes you go straight to a Tailor, and stay there for a week.
/No? Oh. Thought I had it. Meh.

This problem is still not resolved nor does it have any work arounds that I can figure out. Please fix the Tailor lock bug.
